BYOK Setup Guide

To use Img2Sheet with your own OpenAI API key, follow these steps:

1. Go to: https://platform.openai.com/api-keys
2. Click “Create new secret key” and give it a name.
3. (Optional but recommended for security) Select “Restricted” permissions:
   • Under List models → Model capabilities, set Responses (/v1/responses) to Write instead of None.
   • Set Files to Write instead of None.
4. Click “Create secret key” and copy your API key.

Important (required to use the API):

5. Go to: https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/billing/overview
6. Add a payment method and top up at least $5 to your OpenAI balance

Next, connect your key to Img2Sheet:

7. Go to: https://img2sheet.com/app/settings/
8. Enable “Use my own OpenAI API key”
9. Paste your API key into the API Key field
10. Click Save OpenAI API settings

Finally:

• Go to: https://img2sheet.com/pricing/
• Subscribe to the BYOK plan.
• Or go to: https://img2sheet.com/plan/lifetime-deal/
• Purchase the Lifetime Deal and pay once to receive monthly credits.

That’s it — Img2Sheet will now use your own OpenAI API key for data extraction
